USPA NEWS - The Deauville American Film Festival is an unmissable event for film buffs. Its 49th edition is no exception and celebrities from all over the world will meet on the first ten days of September to celebrate American cinema, in Basse-Normandie, a place with strong ties to the United States.

Melanie Thierry will be the president of the Revelation jury at the next American Film Festival in Deauville.
The Revelation Prize will be awarded to “an original work and its promising author”. A prize associated with the Louis Roederer Foundation, which is one of the official partners of the Festival and which is also a Grand Patron of Culture.

The Deauville American Film Festival is an unmissable event for film buffs. The 41-year-old French actress, is a regular at the Cabourg festival where she was a member of the jury in 2015 and received, in 2018, the Swann d'or for best actress for her role in La Douleur, the film by Emmanuel Finkiel. “Whether in cinema, theater or television, Mélanie Thierry has been distiling her sweet scent of mystery for more than 20 years, that of an unclassifiable actress, with a sharp profession, a career full of sidesteps, feline leaps and entrechats, surprises and attempts, in France as in the United States” tweeted on their account the organizers of the American Film festival, of Deauville."
