USPA NEWS - The American Serena Williams, World No. 1, won the French Open for the third time in his career by fighting Saturday in the final, the Czech Lucie Safarova in three sets (6-3, 6-7, 6-2) . It is another major title, and another step closer towards greatest-ever territory, the 20th grand slam.
