FIRST EFFECTS : CREATION OF 22 000 JOBS IN TE ROAD SECTOR IN 2015-------------------------------------------------- The effects of the Macron law anticipates an employment creation in the road sector, of 2025, following the encouragement and related amenities to the Macron Law (Act Growth Activity and Equality Opportunities). France Strategy has evaluated the potential of opening the market to 22 000 jobs in the road transport sector in 2025. The acquisition of new fleet of buses is expected to create more jobs in the French industrial sector. “The Minister Emmanuel Macron, ensures that every effort is made to ensure that this job creation potential is reached or exceeded, notably through vocational training and retraining efforts of drivers of road haulage. The reform will strengthen public transport, including modal share, today 15%, could reach 20%. This will contribute to a significant reduction in pollutant emissions: a bus carrying 8 people is less polluting than individual vehicle carrying two people. Moreover, Emmanuel Macron announced that all involved coach and bus within the market opening will comply with Euro V standards / 5 and Euro VI / 6. The use of older, less efficient vehicles on the environment will be banned. After December 31, 2017, all vehicles must comply with the standard Euro VI / 6, which is the most demanding.“ The Macron law included articles covering subjects with 18 measures affecting individuals namely: Coaches, Driving Licence, Highways, CDG Express for Transport. The other 15 measures affecting enterprises include Tribunal for trade, labor, collective dismissal, excessive dampening productive, small claims, pensions, payment terms ... However the three subjects that are controversial are : Sunday work, regulated professions of notaries and bailiffs, and eventually the circulation of coaches.
